Information processed
We store your account email, name, hashed password, saved resume and cover-letter content, support messages and subscription references to provide the service. Avoid identification documents, medical data, and information you do not have permission to share.
AI processing
Only when you request AI and confirm the consent checkbox, the text you supply and optional job description are sent to the AI provider shown in the writing panel (OpenAI or Azure OpenAI operated by Microsoft). The application requests store=false. Provider retention and processing terms still apply; this is not a zero-retention guarantee.
Billing and email
Stripe processes card information on its hosted checkout and billing portal. The application stores customer, subscription and invoice references, not card numbers. Configured SMTP or Azure Communication Services infrastructure delivers account and support emails.
Storage and retention
Documents remain until you delete them or your account. Operational event records contain no resume text or IP address and are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Email delivery logs are scheduled for deletion after 30 days; successful reset and verification emails have their link contents removed. Accounting records may be retained where required. Backup retention must be included in deployment configuration.
Your controls
Download your saved document data or delete your account from Account settings. You can request access, correction or deletion through support. Depending on your location you may have additional rights, including complaining to your local data protection authority.
Service operations
Essential account processing supports the service you request; security and operational monitoring support reliable operation. Optional AI is only invoked by your action. No advertising trackers are installed. The operator must review provider contracts, international transfer safeguards and this policy as operations change.
